Sanibel Lighthouse

Located on Sanibel Island, just off Cape Coral, the Sanibel Lighthouse has stood as an 98 ft sentinel since the late 1800s. It was also one of the first lighthouses on the Gulf Coast and withstood the tumultuous hurricane seasons with ease until September 2022.

It was closed in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian and is currently still undergoing reparations. Rotary Park Environmental Center

Cape Coral Hurricanes Soccer Team

The city’s professional men’s soccer team play as a 4th Division team competing in the Sunshine Conference, alongside renowned teams from Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, and Atlanta.
